South Korea Trip 2025
Hello, welcome back to my blog. I want to share my journey through the limit of hardest part in live. Yeah, as you guess that is applying for VISA.
The requierement to apply Korean Visa is depend on your ocassion. But, I will just talk about my own personal experience. I planned make single entrance Visa with express process (about 5 days). I prepared basic documents like passport, copy of IC, copy of family card, and copy of marriage book. Another documents that needed are form filling, pass photo size 3.5 x 4.5 cm white background, bank statement on the last three month original print with stamp, statement letter as an employee of company. In my case, I didn’t have much saving in my Indonesian bank and my status as a house wife, so I put my husband as a legal sponsor and make additional statement that explained my whole finance situation. Luckily the staffs are helpful and they provide some facilitie like pass photo booth, copy and print centre. Further information can be access on the website below.

The payment of the VISA only can be paid by online transfer. Don’t foget to keep the receipt, you got the link to check the progress of the VISA by scanning the QR code. I took my own VISA by my self after 5 days. It’s valid for 3 months and I can stay for 1 month max. The legitimate acceptence printed in pdf, not attached in my passport. I got the stamp when arrived in Incheon Airport. It's quite rushing to back and come for VISA in Jakarta, while I lived in my hometown, Malang (1000 km distance). Preferebly to arrange your trip around 1 month before, so you have enough time to prepare all of the reuirements.

Simply reason, I like to enjoy my vacation in a good places. Here the hotels I stayed, it's good enough for rest (min 4 stars hotel).
1. Ramada by Whyndam Seoul Dongdaemun
2. Fairfield by Marriot Busan
3. Best Western Premier Incheon
We arranged the accomodation like bus travel, taxi, and train by ourself, following the route from Naver Map, Navigation. Make sure you have the Tmoney for paying, it’s availbale at convenient store. Don’t forget to top up before it finished.
Some activities like Hanbook Rental can be booked in Klook, it’s cheaper than you go to on the spot. We joined tour by local tour guide in Busan, you can also book it on Klook apps. It’s accessable and easy for paying, just by online mastercard/visa.
Regarding halal food, it’s quite challenging for us. Some places mix their menu, so we should ask directly to the restaurant staffs. I recommend to choose seafood and plant based menu, because we would refrain eating the non halal meat and pork.
That’s all, my story behind of South Korea trip. It’s one of the best journey, worth to try!
