GADGET AND ELECTRONIC STORE IN BRUNEI

 The modern lifestyle is always linked to the updates of gadgets and electronic stuff. It will help our work get easier and more efficient. The other function of a gadget is communication tools on daily basis. No matter what, we will always need technology or you can say depending on robot. Maybe, some people forget the manual method, just follow the automatic “click” on the device. Its OK, you can enjoy it as long you can afford it.

 

Let’s start with gadgets. What is a gadget actually mean?

As Wikipedia said, gadget is mechanical device, refers to computer programs that provide services without needing an independent application to be launched for each one.

I have some category of essential gadgets, like smart watch, smart phone, and laptop. Another people may have more than what I mentioned, kind like tablet, etc. No need to worry if you only have one of them. The mechanism of relationship with gadget is depending on yourself. If you need it and can buy it, so why not have it? It’s not a FOMO article. I won’t give you courage to do consumerism.

 

Where I can get the gadget in Brunei?

So, you can find the gadget store mostly in Bandar Seri Begawan. But, there’re also some small gadget shop in Kuala Belait, Seria, and Tutong. Here I mention some of the famous gadget supplier:

1.       Yappe (selling computer, mobile phone, smart watch, tablet, camera, game console, PC and mobile repair). It has 5 branches: KB Town, KB Central, Serusop, Time Square, and The Mall.

2.       AV electronic (provide Apple® products like: iphone, ipad, mac book, iMac, iwatch, and accessories). It’s also an Apple authorized service provider. Located in Kiulap, The Mall, and KB Town.

3.       Digital World (supply for mobile, laptop, watch, gaming, electronics, accessories, and repairing). The store is centralized in Gadong, near the Manglait traffic light.

4.       Tenten Store (phone, tablet, smart watch, other gadget and accessories). Located in Kiulap and One City Mall.

5.       99 Mobile Service (new and used smart phone, tablet, laptop, smart watch, accessories, and gadget service). Located in The Mall and Airport Mall.

6.       City Mobile (new and used smart phone, tablet, laptop, smart watch, accessories, and gadget service). Located in The Mall and Airport Mall.

7.       KJB (Smart watch, gaming, gadget, and accessories). Located in Madang Complex and Rimba Point.

8.       Netcom (laptop and computer specialist). Located in Time Square, Kiulap, The Mall, Hua Ho Manggis, and Kuala Belait.

 

Actually, the price range of similar products almost the same. It just makes sure they give warranty, good customer service, and convenience.

 

Next, we talk about electronic stores for home appliances. Not all of the stores have the same stock, facilities and online service. The price range maybe almost the same, so no need to worries about it. Suggestion, it’s so much better for approaching the nearest branches, in case you have to come back for servicing or do warranty stuff. Here the list of electronic stores in town:

1.       Hua Ho Department Store, SKH, MiliMewah, Jaya Hypermart (Not really complete but you can check the stock while doing groceries shopping)

2.       Intracorp Megastore (update any promotion on instagram). Located in Gadong, Kuala Belait

3.       R&T Electronic Enterprise. Located in Kiulap

4.       Digital World (update the stock and pricing by instagram). Located in Gadong

5.       Cuckoo (mostly for cooking appliances). Located in Serusop

6.       Little Bean (home appliances and aircond), Gadong

7.       Audiomac (the place I bought aircond, they provide servicing as well). Located in Sg. Hanching and Batu Besurat.

For Kuala Belait, Seria, and Tutong, preferably go to the central town and survey the market directly. It’s hard to suggest any online and digitalize service.

 

Please take a note, always make a call first whether they have in stock or not. Don’t forget to ask about the payment method available. Most of them only accept cash.
